We stand for compliance with the 1.5° limit and efficiently want to achieve the 100 % defossilised energy market. Therefore, our principle is to make the energy transition predictable. As energy market experts, we specialise in databased knowledge transfer on energy markets, energy prices and energy trading in Europe. Together, we set the course for your future.

We help you make sound decisions and reduce your uncertainties through data, expertise and methodological competence. Thanks to our many years of experience in the German as well as EU energy markets, we also bring a distinct market proximity to the table. Together, we find quick and targeted solutions to your challenges.
Our history
We have been owner-managed from the very beginning: Tobias Federico founded Energy Brainpool in 2003 and has been Managing Director ever since. He developed one of the first short-term forecasts for power price development on spot markets. In 2005, the fundamental European energy market model Power2Sim followed. Energy market training and energy policy consulting services have also been part of the portfolio since 2008. We revolutionised our power price scenarios in 2020 with swarm modelling. Today, our team at the Berlin headquarters consists of over 25 employees deriving from different countries and continents.
